CuDeco Ltd. resumed processing plant operations and concentrate production at its flagship Rocklands copper mine in Queensland, Australia, after addressing the issues raised by the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, it said Dec. 18.
The company temporarily suspended processing plant operations on the orders of the department following a Nov. 30 investigation that identified a number of issues.
The DNRM also directed the company to resolve certain issues in the gravity circuit, but the shutdown period enabled the company to install the native copper circuit bypass. CuDeco will now restart processing operations utilizing the new bypass circuit.
