Liu Chong Hing Investment ups FY'17 dividend, names director

Liu Chong Hing Investment Ltd. raised its final dividend for the year ended Dec. 31, 2017, and appointed a new director.

The company's board recommended a final cash dividend of 42 Hong Kong cents per share for full-year 2017, up from 30 cents per share in the year-ago period. Together with an interim dividend of 18 cents per share, the total cash dividend for the year is 60 cents per share, up from 47 cents per share in 2016.

The dividend will be paid June 5, subject to shareholder approval.

In addition, Liu Chong Hing Investment named Eric Tong Tsun Sum as an independent nonexecutive director, effective March 7.

Tong is a member of CPA Australia and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, among others.
