Pantaflix AG launched a Chinese version of its video-on-demand platform as part of a global expansion, the German VOD service provider said.

In addition to the Mandarin service, Pantaflix has earlier released versions of its VOD service in German, English, French, Turkish and Polish.

Pantaflix follows a global distribution model that enables filmmakers and content rights holders to directly manage and upload content, while getting 75% of the revenue from a single online rental.
