British online mortgage marketplace LendInvest Ltd. named Rod Lockhart CEO and member of the company's board of directors, effective Jan. 13.

Lockhart succeeds LendInvest co-founder Christian Faes, who will continue working for the company in the role of executive chairman.

Lockhart joined the company in 2015 and oversaw its £259 million residential mortgage-backed securities securitization as well as investments from various investors.
