RE/MAX unit regains Alaska master franchise ownership

RE/MAX HoldingsInc. unit RE/MAX LLC has bought back RE/MAX Alaska for an undisclosedsum and will now manage the region from its Denver corporate headquarters.

The company said April 1 that the RE/MAX Dynamic Properties brokeragein Anchorage will continue to be owned by Mark Korting and Jackie Danner, who hadserved as regional owners of the Alaska master franchise. RE/MAX Dynamic is deemedto be the biggest single-office brokerage in the U.S. for the brand.

With the RE/MAX Alaska reacquisition, the company now owns 13franchise regions in the U.S., including the New York regional franchise that wasbought back earlier in2016. RE/MAX Alaska has roughly 250 agents across nine brokerage offices.

RE/MAX LLC recently became a fully franchised organization after the sale of three company-ownedbrokerages.
