Hong Kong-based real estate operator and manager Hysan Development Co. Ltd. brought in Wong Ching Ying Belinda as an independent nonexecutive director, effective Dec. 18.

Wong is the CEO of Starbucks China and the director of certain entities of Starbucks Coffee Co. Starbucks is a tenant at certain of the company's properties, and Wong will abstain from voting on any resolutions involving Starbucks.

Wong will hold office until the next annual general meeting of the company in 2019, after which she will be eligible for re-election.
