EFG International AG will combine its legal and compliance operations into a single division and appointed Yves Aeschlimann to lead it as group head of legal and compliance, effective May 1, 2019, and subject to regulatory approval.

Group Chief Compliance Officer Vittorio Ferrario is set to depart EFG at the end of the first quarter of 2019.

Aeschlimann will join from Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) SA, where he served as group head of legal and compliance since 2013. He will report to CEO Giorgio Pradelli and serve on EFG's executive committee.
