Hospitality and leisure company Minor International PCL said Oct. 16 that it entered into a joint venture with private equity firm Vietnam Investments Group LLC to operate Australia-based The Coffee Club Franchising Company Pty. Ltd. in Vietnam.

Under the joint venture, the companies plan to open 100 Coffee Club stores over the next five years.

The partnership is also looking to expand the brand globally.

Minor International has 83 restaurants under three brands and operates four hotels in Vietnam, while Vietnam Investments has more than 10 restaurant brands in its portfolio.
