Washington, D.C.-based NASA FCU and Arlington, Va.-based Partnership FCU intend to merge.
The merger is subject to a vote by Partnership FCU members and has already received regulatory approval.
As of March 31, NASA FCU had total assets of $2.76 billion and Partnership FCU had total assets of $155.0 million, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data. The combined credit union will have 14 branches and serve more than 172,000 members throughout the Washington metropolitan area and the U.S.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
