Regis Resources Ltd. on Dec. 19 named Stuart Gula COO, effective immediately.

Prior to Regis, Gula held key positions at Sihayo Gold Ltd., Nyrstar NV, PT Bumi Sukesesindo, Minerals Metals Group, Sino Gold Mining Pty. Ltd. and IAMGOLD Corp.

In August, the company announced that COO and director Paul Thomas had decided to retire.
