State Employees' CU CEO to retire

Raleigh, N.C.-based StateEmployees' Credit Union announced that James Blaine is retiring.

Blaine, who has been CEO since 1979, will step down once thecredit union's board selects his replacement.

Cynthia Jolly, chair of State Employees' board, said in a May2 press release that the credit union has a succession plan and anticipates thatthe search for a new chief executive will be finished before the end of the firstquarter of 2017.

Blaine is 66, according to the release.
