Report: Ukraine ups Ukreximbank's capital

The Ukrainian government increased the authorized capital ofJSC The State Export-Import Bankof Ukraine by 9.3 billion Ukrainian hryvni to 31.01 billion hryvniand amended the lender's articles of association to reflect the change, Delo.uareported April 1.

Thecapital hike is intended to improve the bank's operating efficiency. Followingthe increase, the lender's authorized capital comprises 21,208,750 commonshares with a par value of 1,462 hryvni apiece.

As of April 1, US$1 was equivalentto 26.05 Ukrainian hryvni.
