Kirkland Lake GoldInc. produced a total of 68,338 ounces in the second quarter from itsMacassa mine complexand East Timminsoperations in Ontario, compared to 62,275 ounces in the first quarter.

Production from Macassa stood at 38,929 ounces, and East Timminsbooked 29,409 ounces, the company said July 14.

Additionally, Anthony Makuch will assume his position as the company's president and CEO onJuly 18.
