Citigroup Inc. is planning to expand its Asia Pacific wealth management client base by 10% in 2019, higher than the 8% growth it posted a year ago, Reuters reported.
The company is planning to increase the number of its client relationship managers in the region, as well as strengthen the usage of digital technology in offering wealth management-related advice, the news outlet added.
Citi's regional wealth management business targets clients in Asia Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa with investible assets of between $100,000 and $10 million, according to the report.
