House prices in the U.S. were up 0.2% in May on a seasonallyadjusted basis month over month, the Federal Housing Finance Agency reported, citingits monthly house price index.
April's increase was revised to a 0.3% increase from the previouslyreported 0.2% increase.
Year overyear, all nine census divisions logged positive movement in house prices, whilemonth-over-month performance was mixed in the range of negative 1.3% to positive1.2%.
The houseprice index includes home sales price information from mortgages sold to, or guaranteedby, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
