Linde-Praxair merger gets antitrust clearance in South Korea

The pending merger of Germany's Linde AG and U.S.-based Praxair Inc. has received antitrust clearance in South Korea subject to certain conditions, the industrial gas giants said.

The move follows other regulatory approvals of the deal, the most recent of which took place in China in September.

Linde PLC will become the new parent company of Praxair and Linde after the expected completion of the merger in the second half of 2018.
