Fullscreen SVOD service gets launch date

Multi-channel network Fullscreen will launch its subscriptionvideo service on April26.

Titled fullscreen, the service will cost $4.99 a month and willbe available on desktop, mobile apps and on Chromecast, The Hollywood Reporter reported March 30.

The original shows offered by the service will include "ElectraWoman & Dyna Girl," "Filthy Preppy Teen$," "Jack & Deanof All Trades" and video podcast "Shane & Friends." The servicewill also include licensed shows like "Dawson's Creek" and "Savedby the Bell." CEO George Strompolos reportedly said the service is targetedat 13-30 years old demographic.

Fullscreen is owned by Otter Media, a joint venture between and The Chernin Group.
