European, Asian real estate moves through July 12

S&P Global MarketIntelligence presents a weekly rundown of recent significant management andboard changes and personnel moves in the European and Asia-Pacific real estateindustries. Europe

*AccorHotelsnamed Chris Cahill,who most recently worked at LasVegas Sands Corp., to the newly created role of CEO, luxury brands.

Hewill lead the integration process following the hotelier's acquisition of FRHIHotels and Resorts and its three luxury brands, namely Fairmont, Raffles andSwissôtel. A hospitality industry veteran, Cahill will be responsible for thestrategy and global operations of AccorHotels' luxury brands.

*Hemfosa FastigheterAB hiredJoacim Sjöberg to be the company's executive vice president, as CEO JensEngwall plans to transfer operational control to Sjöberg before the end of2017, subject to board approval. Sjöbergis expected to assume his position in October.

Sjöbergpreviously worked for Öhman Fondkommission and HSH Nordbank. He currentlyserves as the head of corporate finance at Swedbank.

*Sirius Real EstateLtd. appointed Neil Sachdev nonexecutive director, effectiveimmediately. Sachdev previously served as a nonexecutive director of . He is thecurrent chairman of Market Tech Holdings Ltd.

*Urban&Civic plcsaid Alan Dickinson stepped down as amember of the audit committee, effective July 5, as a result of his as nonexecutive chairman.He will remain as the chairman of the nomination committee.

Asia-Pacific

*Yatra Capital Ltd.named Ramesh Bawa nonexecutive director of the company and its subsidiary, K2Property Ltd. to replace Shahzaad Dalal, subject to approval from regulators inJersey and Mauritius.

*Goodman Groupconfirmed that Philip Pearce stepped down as the managing director of thecompany's business in greater China, effective immediately. He resigned"to focus on health-related issues," to the company.

Pearcealso stepped down from Goodman Group's boards. The company appointed KristofferHarvey to serve as CEO of its Greater China division.

*Ascendas India TrustChairman Philip Yeo Liat Kok and Deputy Chairman David Lim Tik En from their positions,effective July 8. The company appointed Chiang Chie Foo and Manohar Khiatani toserve as the company's chairman and deputy chairman, respectively. AscendasIndia also appointed Jonathan Yap Neng Tong nonexecutive director, effective onthe same day.

*SM Prime HoldingsInc. Executive Vice President Jeffrey Lim will Hans Sy as company president on Oct.1, subject to board approval.

*Japan Real Estate InvestmentCorp. said Mayumi Murata was appointed manager of the compliancedepartment and risk management department of Japan Real Estate Asset Management Co.Ltd., effective July 11.

*Keppel REIT'smanager, Keppel REIT Management Ltd., appointed Chua Hua Yeow, Kelvinjoint company secretary, effective July 5. Tan Weiqiang, Marc andChua Hua Yeow, Kelvin will serve as joint company secretaries of themanager.
