Western Australia government grants mining leases for Gold Road's Yamarna project

Gold Road ResourcesLtd. said May 9 that it was granted the mining leases covering its Gruyere,Central Bore and Attila gold projects, all part of the Yamarna project in Western Australia.

The native title deals enteredon May 3 with the Yilka people and the Cosmo Newberry Aboriginal Corp. allowed thecompany to lodge state deeds for the mining leases, which the Western Australiangovernment subsequently granted.

Following completion of the recently announced A$74 million , Gold Road will bewell funded to complete the feasibility study over the Gruyere project, slated forcompletion by the end of the year and will start securing long lead items and relatedearly works activities for Gruyere.
