Constellation completes equity interest sale in Ga. biomass plant

Exelon Generation Co. LLC unit Constellation Energy Resources LLC completed the sale of 49.5% of its class A membership interests in the 46-MW Albany Green Energy Cogen Plant biomass facility to an affiliate of DCO Energy LLC, according to an Oct. 9 Federal Energy Regulatory Commission filing.

DCO Energy's 1% equity interest and 100% class B membership interest in the Dougherty County, Ga.-based facility will remain unchanged.

The power plant sells its output to Southern Co. utility Georgia Power Co. under a long-term power purchase agreement.

FERC approved the application Oct. 3. Exelon Generation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Exelon Corp. (FERC docket EC17-157)
