Report: Savanna to buy NYC office building for $180M

Real estate investor Savanna Investment Management LLC agreed to acquire an office building in the Midtown East neighborhood of New York City, The Real Deal reported, citing sources familiar with the sale.

AEW Capital Management LP is selling the 360 Lexington Ave. property for more than $180 million, according to the report. The real estate investment unit of Natixis bought the property for $129.5 million in 2008.

The 26-story building drew interest from foreign groups and several local operators, a source familiar with the property told the publication.

Eastdil Secured LLC, which is coordinating the sale for AEW, as well as representatives for Savanna and AEW, did not comment on the matter, according to the report.
