EversourceEnergy named Jim Judge to succeed Tom May, who intends to retire aspresident and CEO on May 4. May will, however, remain with the company asnon-executive chairman of the board, according to an April 6 statement.
May has been with Eversource and predecessor companies for40 years, including 22 years as CEO, leading two major acquisitions.
Judge is currently the executive vice president and CFO ofEversource Energy and will become a member of the board. He has been withEversource and predecessor companies for 38 years. He will stay as CFO until asuccessor is named, and is expected to be elected as chair of the board duringthe company's 2017 annual meeting.
