Wal-Mart exec becomes US attorney for western Arkansas

Duane Kees, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s director of global ethics and compliance, has been confirmed to serve as the U.S. attorney for western Arkansas, The Associated Press reported Dec. 22.

The executive was nominated to the attorney post by President Donald Trump in September. The U.S. Senate confirmed the pick Dec. 20 following approval by the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to the report.
