U.K.-headquartered private equity firm Foresight Group LLP signed a 10-year power purchase agreement to buy the output of the 50-MW Guzman solar plant in Spain from Electricité de France SA subsidiary EDF Trading Ltd.

The subsidy-free solar project in Puebla de Guzman in southwestern Spain is mechanically completed and expected to reach operations in the first quarter of 2020, according to a Dec. 18 news release.
