Willis Towers Watson appoints 3 execs to North America broking biz

Willis Towers Watson Plc has appointed three senior executives to its North America corporate risk and broking business.

The company appointed Sandie Mullen head of life sciences and pharmaceutical casualty broking for North America. She will be responsible for delivering casualty insurance coverage solutions for life sciences clients. Previously, Mullen was at RT Specialty serving as senior vice president and national life sciences practice leader.

Willis Towers Watson named Joseph LaRocco head of carrier management for North America. He will be responsible for building relationships with the company's property and casualty trading partners. LaRocco joined the company in 2012 as Midwest regional broking officer.

Additionally, Raymond Gahwyler was named head of operations for North America broking. He will be responsible for helping the company transform its broking platform. Gahwyler joined Willis Towers Watson in 2015 as regional operating officer for the Northeast region.
