Amiyaki Tei Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to ¥72.19 per share, a gain of 15.6% from ¥62.43 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥494.4 million, an increase of 15.6% from ¥427.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 6.9% from 6.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 15.6% year over year to ¥7.20 billion from ¥6.23 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 15.7% on an annual basis to ¥6.44 billion from ¥5.57 billion.
Reported net income grew 21.6% from the prior-year period to ¥535.0 million, or ¥78.13 per share, from ¥440.0 million, or ¥64.25 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥281.20 per share, a gain of 11.8% from ¥251.44 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.93 billion, an increase of 11.8% from ¥1.72 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased 14.3% year over year to ¥28.08 billion from ¥24.56 billion, and total operating expenses increased 14.7% year over year to ¥25.08 billion from ¥21.87 billion.
The company said reported net income increased 22.9% year over year to ¥2.06 billion, or ¥301.26 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.68 billion, or ¥245.04 per share.
