Bajaj Finance considers stock split

Bajaj FinanceLtd. is considering a stock split and issuing bonus equity sharesto members of the company.

The company said July 11 that its board is proposing a stocksplit of the firm's equity shares with a face value of 10 rupees each. Thecompany may also issue bonus equity shares to its member.

The proposals will be considered at the company's board ofdirectors meeting July 26 and if approved, will be subject to shareholderapproval.

As of July 12, US$1was equivalent to 67.08 Indian rupees.
