March 30

*Patrick Porritt, head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's financial institutionsgroup for the Asia-Pacific region, joined CreditSuisse Group AG, Reuters reported, citing an internal memo. Bank ofAmerica Merrill Lynch is the marketing name for the global banking and globalmarkets business of Bank of AmericaCorp.

*Mongolia's Khan BankLLC said John Bell was appointed as CEO, effective April 1. Bell replacesNorihiko Kato.

*Far East Horizon Ltd.said Ning Gaoning was appointed to replace Liu Deshu as chairman andnonexecutive director, effective March 30. Liu will retire from the roles.

*T. Rowe Price Group Inc.named Naoyuki Hondaits new country head for Japan. Honda previously worked as managing director, chief productofficer and head of marketing and product development at

*CNinsure Inc. saidQiuping Lai, its president and co-founder, retired from his roles at the company and its board. Thecompany's CEO, Chunlin Wang, took over Lai's post as executive director on theboard. The changes took effect March 27.

*Medibank Pvt. Ltd.said Craig Drummond was appointedas managing director and CEO, effective July 4. David Koczkar, Medibank's COO,will serve as acting CEO from April 1 when the current managing director andCEO, George Savvides, retires

March 28

*JS Bank Ltd. said AliJehangir Siddiqui was appointed as the new chairman of the bank, effectiveMarch 28. He replaces Jahangir Siddiqui.

*Bank of Ayudhya PCLsaid it appointedDuangdao Wongpanitkrit as director, effective March 28. Duangdao Wongpanitkritreplaces Janice Rae Van Ekeren, who resigned.

*Sony Financial HoldingsInc. named Katsumi Ihara, currently president and arepresentative director, as chairman of its board. The company appointed ShigeruIshii, currently an executive vice president and representative director, toreplace Ihara as president. Theappointments are effective June 23, subject to approvals.

*Malayan Banking Bhd.,or Maybank, said it appointed Mohaiyani Shamsudin chairman of andR. Karunakaran chairman of EtiqaTakaful Bhd. and Etiqa Insurance Bhd.

March 26

*Bank of Zhengzhou Co.Ltd. said it named Yu Zhanglin as nonexecutive director to replace MaLei, who resigned, effective March 26. Meanwhile, the bank nominatedZhao Lijuan and Xu Changsheng to the board of supervisors. Zhao and Xu willreplace Fan Dalu and Zhang Shengping, effective March 28.

*KB Financial GroupInc. said Choi Woon-youl retired from his position as outside director.

March 25

*Huatai Securities Co.Ltd. said Dong Junzheng resigned as supervisor of the company.

*SMBC Nikko SecuritiesInc. said it appointed Koji Ueda as general manager of wholesalebusiness administration, effective April 1. Ueda is currently with Mitsuhiro Akiyama was appointed as executive officer, effective May 1. Akiyamais currently with Sumitomo MitsuiBanking Corp.

*Japan Post Bank Co.Ltd. said it appointed Norito Ikeda as its new president to replaceMasatsugu Nagato, effective April 1.

March 24

*People's Insurance Co. (Group) ofChina Ltd. said Wang Dajun was appointedemployee representative supervisor to replace Li Yongmei, who resigned.

*New China Life Insurance Co.Ltd. said Wan Feng became CEO March 24, after his predecessor Dian Kang'sterm ended.

*Chubb Ltd. said itappointed Darren Canthead of risk engineering for property and casualty for Asia-Pacific. He willretain his current role of overseeing the company's P&C risk engineeringservices team for the region from Melbourne.
