Nan Liu Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income came to NT$1.57 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$1.96 per share.
EPS increased 18.5% year over year from NT$1.33.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$114.3 million, an increase of 18.4% from NT$96.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 7.7% from 6.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to NT$1.48 billion, compared with NT$1.49 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses fell year over year to NT$1.30 billion from NT$1.33 billion.
Reported net income increased 18.6% on an annual basis to NT$138.8 million, or NT$1.91 per share, from NT$117.0 million, or NT$1.61 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$6.71 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of NT$8.01.
EPS rose 31.1% from NT$5.12 in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$487.3 million, an increase of 31.1% from NT$371.7 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 10.8% on an annual basis to NT$5.92 billion from NT$5.34 billion, and total operating expenses grew 9.0% year over year to NT$5.17 billion from NT$4.75 billion.
The company said reported net income increased 38.4% year over year to NT$581.2 million, or NT$8.00 per share, in the full year, from NT$419.9 million, or NT$5.78 per share.
