FDIC, Single Resolution Board sign cooperation agreement

The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the EU's Single Resolution Board concluded a cooperation arrangement, committing to strengthen their cross-border communication and cooperation in dealing with the challenge of global systemically important bank resolutions.

The press release noted that both agencies are "continuously coordinating with other resolution authorities" to facilitate the resolution of banks across different jurisdictions.
