Ferrexpo declares special dividend of 3.3 US cents

Ferrexpo Plc on Dec. 7 announced a special dividend of 3.3 U.S. cents per share, to be paid Jan. 15, 2018.

The company noted that it has continued to trade strongly after announcing positive results for the first half of the year in early August, with cash flows further reducing net debt and funded CapEx.

Ferrexpo posted a profit attributable to shareholders of US$215.1 million, or 36.72 cents per share, for the first half, jumping year over year from US$77.1 million, or 13.17 cents apiece.

The company reinstated a dividend of 3.3 cents per share in March, after its 2016 profit surged fivefold on an annual basis to US$187.4 million, or 31.91 cents per share.
