Charles Schwab appoints CFO

Charles Schwab Corp. CFO Joseph Martinetto is transitioning to a different position within the company, with Peter Crawford to succeed him as CFO.

Crawford serves as executive vice president of finance. Effective May 16 after the annual shareholders meeting, he will succeed Martinetto, who will continue as senior executive vice president with oversight of several areas including the banking, technology and operations units; its real estate and corporate development and strategy teams; and community services. Martinetto will also continue to serve on the executive council, as a trustee for the Schwab Family of Mutual Funds and Exchange-Traded Funds, and as a board member at Charles Schwab Bank and Charles Schwab & Co. Inc.
