The Athens Stock Exchange has applied for membership in SEELink, a regional securities trading platform set up by the Bulgarian, Croatianand Macedonian stock exchanges.
SEE Link said April 27 that the Athens Stock Exchange will bethe fourth institution to apply for membership in the Skopje, Macedonia-basedplatform following the stock exchanges of Belgrade, Serbia; Ljubljana,Slovenia; and Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Including the three foundingstock exchanges, SEE LINK will now cover seven regional markets.
SEE Link's order routing system, which aims to improveliquidity and access for investors and local brokers, became fully operationalin March. Earlier in April, the joint company launched two indexes — SEE LinXand SEE LinX EWI — composed of the 10 most actively traded regional companieslisted on three participating exchanges.
