Alpine Electronics Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 came to ¥17.05 per share, a gain from ¥16.87 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pretax and after-tax basis, was ¥1.18 billion, compared with ¥1.18 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 1.7% from 1.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to ¥69.59 billion from ¥68.27 billion, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to ¥67.58 billion from ¥66.84 billion.
