Otelco Inc., a wireline telecommunication services provider, named Richard Clark COO, the company said Oct. 12.

Clark joins the company from TVC Albany Inc., where he was executive vice president and CFO.

"Initially, Richard will focus on plant and network operations as we plan for the retirement of our Senior Vice President of Operations, Ed Tisdale. During 2019, Richard's responsibilities will expand to include marketing, sales, billing and regulatory functions," Otelco President and CEO Rob Souza said.

The appointment is effective Oct. 15.

Otelco offers services in Alabama, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, Vermont and West Virginia.
