Swiss Re AG announced the appointment of Mark Hodges as CEO of its U.K. closed book business, ReAssure, from March 1, 2019.

He will lead the business through the anticipated IPO in 2019 and will lead its next phase of expansion as an independent listed closed book consolidator, according to a news release. Hodges is currently CEO of Centrica PLC's consumer division.
