Jameson submits additional license applications at Crown Mountain coal project

Jameson Resources Ltd. submitted applications for four additional coal exploration licenses at its Crown Mountain coking coal project in British Columbia.

The applications comprise the Northern Extension, Grave Creek, Alexander Creek and Grave Prairie licenses and cover an area of 4,505 hectares.

Geological field evaluation is expected to commence after the applications are granted, which could take several months, the company said Aug. 15.

The licenses are outside the currently known coal deposit area and should be considered speculative at this time.
