ILOOKABOUT Q1 loss narrows YOY

iLOOKABOUT Corp. said its first-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of C$96,760, compared with a loss of C$335,900 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin rose to negative 4.5% from negative 22.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 41.8% year over year to C$2.1 million from C$1.5 million, and total operating expenses grew 6.0% from the prior-year period to C$2.2 million from C$2.1 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of C$154,810, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$570,170, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
