Greatland Gold Plc said June 6 that it secured a new copper-gold prospective license area, dubbed Paterson Range East, situated north of its Havieron project in Western Australia.
The new license area covers 224 square kilometers and more than doubles the company's landholding in the Paterson Region.
Greatland plans to use modern geophysical methods across the new portfolio to refine targets prior to drill-testing at the project.
Limited historical exploration in the late 1990s demonstrated high-grade gold and copper mineralization at Havieron, with peak values of 15 g/t of gold and 2.5% copper.
