National Fuel gets extra time for reorganizing facilities, services

National Fuel Gas Supply Corp. will have until 2018 to transfer its interstate natural gas transportation facilities and services to an affiliate.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission authorized a new deadline of Nov. 19, 2018, for National Fuel to finish transferring all gas facilities under the commission's jurisdiction to National Fuel Gas Supply LLC.

The transfer was originally proposed Feb. 26, 2015. In an October 2016 request for additional time beyond the original in-service date of November 2016, National Fuel cited "changed market conditions" for the proposed schedule change. National Fuel Gas Supply LLC would operate the facilities after the transfer as part of a change in National Fuel's legal ownership structure from a Pennsylvania corporation to a Delaware limited liability company.
