Bank of Ceylon CEO to retire; successor named

Bank of Ceylon said D. M. Gunasekara will retire as CEO and general manager of the lender.

With the departure, K. B. S. Bandara was appointed as the new CEO and general manager of the bank, effective Feb. 22.

Bandara is currently the bank's deputy general manager for sales and channel management, according to a Feb. 19 filing.
