Fortis Inc. appointed Tracy Medve as the new chair of the boards of directors of FortisBC Inc. and FortisBC Energy Inc, effective Jan. 1. Medve succeeded Ida Goodreau, who died in December 2019 after a brief illness.

Medve is president of the KF Aerospace Group of Cos. in Kelowna, British Columbia. She was previously the chair of the Air Transport Association of Canada and is a member of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada, according to a Jan. 17 press release.
