Marcelo Kopel, Itaú Unibanco Holding SA's investor relations officer, is transitioning to a new role as executive officer in charge of the bank's cards and vehicles division.

As a result, the company named Alexsandro Broedel Lopes as its new investor relations officer. Lopes has been serving as Itaú's executive finance, market risk and liquidity officer since April 2015, a position he will continue to hold, according to an Oct. 6 regulatory filing.
