Indonesian lender injects capital into Shariah unit

Indonesia-based PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk injected 251.89 billion rupiah into unit PT Bank Jabar Banten Syariah, IDNFinancials reported July 3.

Following the capital injection, which took effect June 29, Bank Jabar Banten Syariah's capital rose to 1.49 trillion rupiah.

As of July 3, US$1 was equivalent to 14,337 Indonesian rupiah.
