Report: Blackstone sells Santa Monica, Calif., office asset to Tishman for $140M

Blackstone Group LP sold the 140,000-square-foot Arboretum Courtyard office property to Tishman Speyer for approximately $140 million, The Real Deal reported, citing unnamed sources.

The price paid for the class A building at 2120-20150 Colorado Ave. translates to roughly $1,000 per square foot, the Aug. 10 report noted.

A joint venture between Douglas Emmett Inc. and sovereign wealth fund Qatar Investment Authority was reported back in June to be eyeing the property.

Blackstone could not be reached and Tishman declined to comment on the deal, the publication added.
