Report: Deutsche Bank names global co-head of equity derivatives biz

appointed JamesBoyle global co-head of its equity derivatives business, Bloomberg Newsreported April 13.

Basedin Hong Kong, Boyle will also serve as the lender's head of equities forAsia-Pacific, the sources added.

Bloomberghad reported a day earlier that Boyle resigned as Citigroup Inc.'s global head of equity derivatives.

DeutscheBank said March 11 that its equity business posted "significantlylower" revenues in the second half of 2015 compared to the year-agoperiod, driven by losses from securities that the lender held on its ownbalance sheet as well as "challenging risk management," Bloombergnoted.

In2015, Deutsche Bank appointed Brad Kurtzman global head of equity derivativesbusiness, while RobEbert was named head of equities for Asia.
