MAN SE H1 profit climbs 21.7% YOY

MAN SE said its first-half normalized net income amounted to 99 euro cents per share, a gain of 18.5% from 84 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €145.6 million, a gain of 21.7% from €119.6 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew 6.3% year over year to €6.86 billion from €6.46 billion, and total operating expenses increased 6.4% year over year to €6.59 billion from €6.19 billion.

Reported net income grew 1,080.0% from the prior-year period to €118.0 million, or 80 cents per share, from €10.0 million, or 7 cents per share.
