Vranken-Pommery Monopole H1 loss narrows YOY

Vranken-Pommery Monopole - Société Anonyme said its first-half normalized net income amounted to a loss of 38 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 43 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €3.4 million, compared with a loss of €3.8 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to €95.2 million from €92.8 million, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to €92.8 million from €91.7 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of €4.5 million, or a loss of 50 cents per share, compared to a loss of €4.8 million, or a loss of 54 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
