Fire TV devices get CenturyLink's Stream app

CenturyLink Inc.'s over-the-top service Stream can now be accessed on Amazon.com Inc.'s Fire TV devices, Cord Cutters News reported Dec. 18.

Introduced for Fire TV devices in the week of Dec. 11, the Stream app allows subscribers to choose from two base packages that include Cloud DVR for recording programs. Priced at $45 a month, the Ultimate package features more than 45 channels, while the Latino package, priced at $15 a month, features 27 Spanish language channels.

CenturyLink Stream also offers a range of add-on genre packages.
