Wolters Kluwer names leader of US advisory services biz

WOLTERS KLUWER said Aug. 8 that Stevie Conlon was named vice president, tax and regulatory counsel, and leader of its U.S. advisory services business.

Conlon, who joined the company in 2004, will retain her current role as a leader in the investment compliance business.

Additionally, Timothy Burniston was appointed to the newly created position of senior adviser, regulatory strategy. Burniston, who will be based in Wolters Kluwer's Washington, D.C., office, joined the company's financial services business in 2011 to lead its U.S. advisory consulting services practice.
